3.9 million litres of thermal water per day flow into the 22 private and public spas of Leukerbad. Besides its wellness facilitities Leukerbad offers a wide range of sports activities.

In the village, skiers and snowboarders have the choice of two ski lifts, or they can take the cable car to the Torrent ski area. More than 50 km of pistes, some of which have seen world-cup races, as well as the snowboard fun park provide a wealth of opportunities for pursuing your favourite hobby.

Six ski lifts and a six-passenger gondola link the Torrent and Albinen ski area. Not only ski and snowboard fans, but also panorama lovers and sun worshippers can enjoy the scenic view of the four thousand meter high summits of the Valais Alps.
