Welcome to your apartment in the Akelei guesthouse in the beautiful Neustift in the Stubaital!

The hamlet of Neugasteig belongs to the community of Neustift and is located at the rear of the Stubaital. You will find our Akelei guesthouse in a quiet location, surrounded by the impressive scenery of the Stubai Alps.

From your apartment you can reach the stop of the free ski bus that takes you to Stubai Glacier within 1 minute. The centre of the village of Neustift with its numerous restaurants, a supermarket and leisure centre is 7 minutes away by car. A training lift for beginners, wonderful cross-country skiing trails and the quaint and very popular Skialm are all within walking distance from our apartments and can be reached within 5 minutes only.

The Akelei guesthouse offers comfortable and spacious apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchen with living and dining area, 2 bedrooms with double beds, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet, a balcony or a terrace. In addition to the cosy interior, a flat -screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi access are available in every apartment. We are happy to provide a cot and a high chair for your children. A table tennis and playing room ensures that your children will feel comfortable here with us as well.

After an active day you can relax in our spa area in the Akelei guesthouse with sauna, steam bath, Physiotherm infra red cabin, massage chairs and a relaxation room. Sports equipment can be stored in our ski room with boot dryer. Use the mountain bikes that we provide free of charge. Plenty of parking in front of your apartment is, of course, also available. In summer you can benefit from the Stubai Super Card with all its advantages.

In winter, the Stubai Glacier, the Schlick 2000 family resort, as well as the Serlesbahnen and the Elferlift areas offer varied slopes for every demand in the Stubaital. Austria’s largest glacier skiing resort impresses with its panoramic and challenging ski tour routes. Idyllic winter forests will enchant and invite you to enjoy snowshoe or torchlight hikes. The numerous runs in the Stubaital also ensure fast-paced fun on sleds for the whole family.

During summer months the Stubaital is a unique natural treasure. Lush meadows, rushing waterfalls and mighty summits above 3000m create an incredible setting. You will surely enjoy the Stubai delicacies available in the many retreats along the extensive trail network with connection to traditional huts and pastures. An experience of a very special kind is the Klaus Äuele Kids Park and Wild Water Playground with flying fox, raft to explore the pond, a balance and climbing course, water playground with water wheel, etc.
